# Live displays and streaming

BoxerBase shows live scores on any device with a browser. This page covers the ring-corner live score view, multi-ring LED screens, the speaker view for announcers, the streaming overlay, and recommended hardware.

## Live score (ring corner or public screen)

Press the **Live score** button above the matchlist. This opens a live page that updates as judges enter scores, intended for ring-corner screens and big screens.

- Press the text in the top left corner to go fullscreen.
- The view shows the current bout, round progress (a ring fills in per round), and upcoming bouts.
- Live points display can be turned off so the audience does not see scores during the round.

The view can show several rings at once, which suits LED screens showing all rings, the current round, and who boxes next.

Two modes exist:

- **Normal mode**: bout list style, no live points, intended for the public.
- **Scoring mode**: includes live round scoring.

## Speaker view

The **speaker** view shows results directly, including results decided but not yet announced. It is designed for the announcer: results appear after **Mark as done** on the supervisor screen, before the public sees them.

## Streaming overlay

The overlay puts live scores on top of a video stream:

1. Open the overlay configurator with the **Stream link** button above the matchlist (organizers only).
2. Configure names, position, round score display and background. Score display options: **Always**, **After the match**, **During breaks** (follows the supervisor), or **Never**. Set it to **Always** while you adjust size and position.
3. Copy the link at the bottom of the configurator and add it as a **web source** in your streaming software. Use a transparent background, or a green background your software keys out.
4. Links are separate per session and ring. To reuse a configuration, press the link icon in the top right and paste the previous link: it adapts to the current session.

In the same menu, use **Set stream URL** to store your YouTube or Twitch link. This adds a **Stream** button above the matchlist for everyone.

## Watching as a spectator

Spectators open the event link in a browser, with no account and no app. Published sessions show bout lists, live scores and results on phones, tablets and computers.

For device and network recommendations, see [Hardware and network](/docs/event/hardware).
