Federations#

BoxerBase supports federations with member clubs: the federation sits above its member organizations and can issue licenses, manage members, and run sanctioned events. Federation accounts are provisioned by us: most settings are specific to each federation’s rules, so onboarding and configuration happen together with our team. Contact support to set up a federation.

This page lists what a federation account can do. Feature availability varies per federation.

What a federation can do#

  • Custom federation page: a branded page on your own domain, showing member clubs, events, and standings.
  • Member management: manage affiliated clubs and organizations from one place, including a review queue for federation-level actions that member clubs request.
  • License management: issue and track licenses for boxers, coaches, referees, and other roles. Licenses are issued by the federation, with member clubs as the default organization. License summaries appear on person profiles.
  • Sanctioned events: member clubs can file events under the federation. The federation decides per affiliation whether member clubs pay their own event credits, whether the federation covers them, or whether events run without payment. See Credits and payments.
  • Federation plans: a plan can exempt sanctioned events from credit consumption. Payment processing fees for online payments still apply.
  • Statistics and rankings: results across sanctioned events feed rankings and statistics for the federation.

For member clubs#

If your club belongs to a federation, the effects are: your event creation form shows whether the federation or your club is billed, your event may be listed on the federation’s page, and licensing may apply to your boxers. See Credits and payments for how billing is decided.
