Register for an event#

This guide shows how to register your club’s boxers and coaches for an event and pay the fee if one is charged. It’s the guide to send clubs when your event opens. If you don’t have a BoxerBase club yet, start with Create your club; you can also create the club directly on the registration page.

After creating a club from the registration page, you stay on the same page and continue. You don’t need to reload and click Register Now again.

1. Open the event and click Register Now#

Open the event link you were sent.

1. Check the date, venue, and any notes from the organizer.
2. Click Register Now.

If registration is not open yet, the button is disabled. If the event is full, the button shows that it is full.

If you are not signed in, you are asked to sign in. After the email code, you return to this same registration page.

2. Choose or create your club#

• One club: it is selected for you.
• Several clubs: pick the club you are registering from in the list.
• No club yet: fill in Create a club (name, email, city, country) and click Create, then continue on the same page.

The left side of the page is who you are sending. The right side is the rest of your club’s boxers or coaches.

3. Add boxers to the event#

Under Remaining boxers on the right, you see boxers from the club who are not in this registration yet.

1. Click + next to a boxer to add them. They move to Selected boxers on the left.
2. If the list is empty, click Add boxer to club, fill in their details, and create them. They are saved on the club and reused for later events.
3. For each selected boxer, check:
   • Group (age and weight class). A class is suggested from date of birth, weight, gender, and record. Change it if needed, unless the event locks the classes.
   • Year of birth, weight, and number of matches.
   • License number, if the event asks for one.
   • Profile photo, if the event requires one. Use the pencil icon to edit the boxer and add it.

Already-paid boxers show a green check.

To take a boxer off the registration, click −. You cannot remove a boxer whose class already has matches.

When the selected boxers look right, click Next if the event also registers coaches. Otherwise skip to Confirm and pay.

4. Add coaches#

Some events skip this step.

1. Click + next to each coach you want at the event, or Add coach to club if they are not on the club yet.
2. Check phone number and license number if shown.
3. Click Previous to go back to boxers if needed.

5. Confirm and pay#

1. Click Register n boxers (or Register n boxer and n coach).
2. Check the summary: names, classes, and fees. Removed people show as struck through.
3. If you have a discount code, click Add discount, enter the code, and click Apply.
4. Read the refund policy if a fee is charged.
5. Click the same register button at the bottom to confirm. Boxers already paid for this event show Paid next to their fee, so you only pay for what is new.

If there is nothing to pay, the boxers and coaches are registered and you are done.

If there is a registration fee:

1. You are taken to the payment page.
2. Enter card or other payment details.
3. Click Pay.
4. When payment succeeds you see Payment Successful. You can download a receipt, and one is emailed to you.

You can return to Register Now later, until the organizer’s deadline, to add or remove people and pay any extra fees. Already-paid boxers keep a green check and are not charged again when you update the registration.

Check your registration#

Once registered, you see your boxers and coaches on the event’s Participants page. Each participant shows a Payment Status:

• Pending: you have not paid yet.
• Paid: the registration fee has been paid.

If the status is pending, use Pay now to pay the fee. Some organizers require payment for the registration to count as valid, so make sure the status shows Paid before the event.

Check-in and weigh-in#

When the organizer starts check-in, the participants list also shows a Weigh-ins column so you can follow your boxers:

• Weighed in: the boxer has been weighed and checked in.
• Not weighed in: the boxer has not been weighed yet.

Click a boxer to see their weigh-in details, including the time they weighed in and their measured weight.

If a boxer moves to a different class after weigh-in, for example because their measured weight differs from the registered one, you see the updated group here. Contact the organizer if something looks wrong.

If something is blocked#

• Registration closed or maximum participants reached: you cannot add more boxers. Contact the organizer.
• No class selected or a class shown in red: pick a valid group, or the class may be full.
• License or photo required: fill those in before you can continue.
• Country not allowed: this club’s country is not eligible for the event.
